TRM Pitbull Auto Review | The Slicey MagnaCut Automatic I Didn't Expect!

The TRM Pitbull Auto is here, and Three Rivers Manufacturing has taken everything I love about their knives—thin blade geometry, excellent ergonomics, deep-pocket carry, and incredible slicing performance—and turned it into an automatic.
In this review, I take a detailed look at the new TRM Pitbull automatic knife, including its MagnaCut blade, 3D machined hard-coated aluminum handles, Micarta or G10 inlays, titanium deep-carry pocket clip, unique pivot design, button lock, and powerful automatic deployment. Inspired by the TRM Neutron 2, the Pitbull brings a familiar TRM feel in a compact USA made automatic package.
I'll also compare the Pitbull to several popular knives in the TRM lineup, including the Neutron 2 and Bulldog, along with the Benchmade Bugout. We go over the size, blade stock, thickness, behind-the-edge geometry, pocket carry, ergonomics, action, and just how slicey this MagnaCut blade really is.
I've carried and used this knife, and like the other TRM knives in my collection, it is incredibly comfortable, thin behind the edge, easy to sharpen, and extremely capable for everyday cutting tasks. The automatic action is fast and authoritative, while the button lock makes it easy to close one-handed.
