The Maxace Black Mirror S brings back one of my favorite knife designs—but this time at a budget-friendly price of around $60-$70. After loving the original titanium/M390 Black Mirror for years, I was excited to see whether the new liner lock version could live up to its legacy.
In this review, I compare the Black Mirror S directly to the original, cover the 14C28N blade steel, slicing performance, action, ergonomics, carry, dimensions, weight, and whether this is one of the best budget EDC knives you can buy today.
If you're looking for a thin, slicey sheepsfoot blade with excellent everyday performance, this is definitely one to consider.
