After carrying the Tuya ION for an extended period, I'm ready to share my full thoughts. Designed by Echelon Designs, this premium full-size folder combines a beautifully machined M390 blade, titanium frame lock construction, multiple deployment methods, and outstanding ergonomics into one incredibly capable everyday carry knife.
The ION isn't trying to be the lightest knife on the market—it's built to feel substantial, confidence inspiring, and ready for serious work. Despite weighing over 6.5 ounces, the tall flat-ground blade slices exceptionally well, the action is buttery smooth whether using the front flipper or reverse flick, and the ergonomics make this one of the most comfortable large folders I've carried.
