The Kizer Masu might be one of the best values in Kizer's Vanguard lineup.
Designed by Caleb Waldman, the Masu combines a wicked Wharncliffe blade, incredibly thin blade geometry, beautiful Vortex Micarta scales, and a lightweight button liner lock, all for under $80.
After carrying and using this knife, it's easy to see why it has become one of my favorite Vanguard Series models. It slices cardboard effortlessly, glides through paper, and carries much lighter than its full-size dimensions would suggest.

At 8 inches overall, a 3.5-inch blade, and weighing only 3.05 ounces, the Masu offers an incredible balance of size, cutting performance, and carry comfort. The aggressive Wharncliffe profile and ultra-thin edge make this an outstanding knife for everyday cutting tasks, especially breaking down cardboard and opening packages.
