Why Every EDC Collector Needs a Slip Joint | Case Trapper

Today we're taking a look at another traditional slip joint that followed me home from the shop, a Case Smooth Trapper featuring dark red burlap Micarta handles and Case Carbon Steel blades.
This knife immediately caught my eye, not only because of the beautiful red Micarta, but because it reminds me of a Case Trapper that was passed down to me from a close friend. Instead of carrying that sentimental knife, I wanted one that I could actually put in my pocket and use.
In this unboxing, we'll check out:

Why I still enjoy carrying a traditional slip joint alongside my modern locking folder
This isn't meant to replace my primary EDC. My slip joint rides in my left pocket while my locking folder handles the heavier work, but there's just something special about carrying a classic Case Trapper.
