Welcome back to another Blade Battle! Today we're comparing two outstanding USA-made EDC fixed blades: the Jacob Creates Chickadee and the TRM Tagalong.
Both knives feature CPM MagnaCut blade steel, premium craftsmanship, and compact designs built for everyday carry. But when they go head-to-head across my Blade Battle categories, only one comes out on top.

The Jacob Creates Chickadee has earned a loyal following thanks to its compact size, excellent ergonomics, and beautiful minimalist design. The TRM Tagalong counters with premium Fat Carbon scales, a DLC-coated MagnaCut blade, and one of the nicest leather pocket sheaths available on a production fixed blade.
As always, this is a fun, subjective comparison based on my personal experience using both knives. It's not a scientific test—just one knife enthusiast comparing two excellent tools side by side.
