Hey guys, JuhVon here from JuhVon's Knife Flicks! Today we're taking a first look at the brand new Lucky Dog Knife Company BearDog, a compact fixed blade that immediately impressed me right out of the box.
This BearDog features AEB-L steel hardened to 62 HRC, a thin .09" blade stock, green micarta handles, brass hardware, and a beautifully executed tall flat grind. Built by ERC Knives in Iowa and paired with Lucky Dog's signature deep-carry leather sheath, this little fixed blade delivers traditional styling with modern EDC performance.
In this unboxing, we'll check out the fit and finish, sheath, ergonomics, cutting performance, and my first impressions of what could be one of the most exciting small fixed blades I've handled this year.
