Take a step back in time with me as I check out one of Spyderco’s most underrated flippers, the Spyderco Rubicon 2. This stunning Peter Carey collaboration is made in Taichung, Taiwan. This short-run production knife (2016–2019) blends old-school craftsmanship with modern design. It sports a deep hollow grind S30V Blade, titanium liners, and that signature Cary flipper action. I’ll break down the build quality, action, and comfort and share why this knife deserves way more attention from the Spyderco community.
