TRM Knives: Are They the Best USA Made EDC Knives?

In this video, we take a deep dive into my Three Rivers Manufacturing (TRM) knife collection—my favorite USA-made knife company known for their precision craftsmanship and ultra-slicey blade geometry. From the iconic Neutron 2 and Atom to rare finds like the Atlas slip joint, the tough Bulldog, and slicey fixed blades like the Redline Camp Knife and Tagalong, I cover it all. Including materials like 20CV, MagnaCut, Titanium, G10 and micarta scales. TRM knives are lightweight, customizable, and built for serious everyday carry (EDC) users like us. Three Rivers Mfg. was incorporated in 2014 as a company separate from Halpern Titanium, but it wasn’t until 2018 that TRM became one of Halpern’s "favorite customers." With the release of the Neutron in the summer of 2018, followed by the Atom in 2019, TRM was prime for an explosion. The Halperns have a proven history (Halpern Titanium, Inc. was established in 1997) of nurturing a new company, so here comes TRM. Our knives can sometimes be a challenge to purchase, but we continue to improve our processes and increase our production. Unfortunately, as more TRM knives make it into the wild, the demand increases.
TRM has a reputation for listening to customers. Our Viator and Thunderbird were named by two loyal customers. The Nerd blade shape evolved from customer feedback and many scale material options have been recommendations from customers on social media.
We consider customer service to be an extension of our products. We are committed to interacting with our customers through our Facebook group and Instagram @t_r_m_3rivers. You can call 413-283-6670 and get a person to respond to your questions. Participate in the best Facebook group in the industry (TRM TiCOONS Really Matter) for daily interactions with fellow TRM fans, and the TRM team.
We don’t answer the phone with a recorded message that says, “Your call is very important to us….” You will speak with a TRM customer service representative. Our goal is to guarantee every customer a “Disney World” customer experience. As our business grows, we will never let our customer service reputation be tarnished.
All TRM knives are 100% manufactured and assembled in the USA with US materials and suppliers. We proudly etch USA on all of our products!
