Is This UNIQUE EDC Fixed Blade a GREAT Knife for Everyday Carry?

Today we're taking a closer look at the Swartz Knives Overland Sport, a compact, USA-made EDC fixed blade crafted in small batches out of Idaho. This particular model features MagnaCut steel (63–64 HRC) with a Cerakote finish, UltiClip-equipped Kydex sheath, and G10 scales—making it a slicey, lightweight, and pocketable blade perfect for urban and outdoor EDC tasks. Thanks to Knives & More for letting me borrow this little beast; it’s not a full review, more of a hands-on show-and-tell, but I can already tell it’s a knife I’d be proud to carry. Whether you're into EDC knives, fixed blades, or just love discovering small batch American knife makers, this one's worth checking out!

The Overland Sport
A little brother to the full size Overland fixed blade. Featuring CPM Magnacut steel, the blade shape is great for cutting on flat surfaces while also having a keen tip for detail cutting. The ergonomic handle is a full four finger length for most hand sizes and is comfortable in various grip orientations. This knife is ideally sized for in-pocket carry and is also great for many other methods of carry.
The Overland Sport and all other Schwarz Knives are made in Idaho in our own shop.
Sheath Options
This knife comes standard with a Kydex sheath and an Ulti-Clip Slim 2.2 - our go to for in-pocket carry. This is a fully reversible design for left or right handed use. The throat of the sheath is also specifically designed to be easy to sheath and unsheath from your pocket. The sheath also has universal hole spacing for Tek-Loks, belt clips, and many other attachments.
