First look: Spyderco Salt 2 and Black Para 3!
Published: 7 years ago
***Update in regards to swapping scales from a Delica to a Salt 2: it can be done but instead of taking scales apart you should just swap the blade itself. You'll also need to swap the lock bars to ensure proper fit. The Salt scales do not have liners so compatability with custom Delica scales may not work at all. Sorry to make the assumption. -JT ***
Quick overview of this new Spyderco Salt 2, with a look at the blacked out Para 3.
I'm impressed with the Salt 2, and how Spyderco uses a time tested design to create a different product. It fills the hand much better than my other Salt models and will be just a good, light EDC.
The Para 3 action is on a new level. Tight lock up, smooth and crisp opening, it's everything you'd want from a compression lock. I hope to see this level of quality in the future variations as well.

Thanks for watching and take care!
