Spyderco Shaman Initial Impressions
Published: 7 years ago
Well, this one came in early and I just had to use it and get it on camera. Such a cool design for anyone who likes the Native series, with solid ergos and a beefy feel for heavy duty.
I say early on that this one reminds me of a Cold Steel, and that's definitely true. The difference between this and the Native is the difference between Iron Man's Armor versus his Hulk Buster Armor. This Shaman is just a small tank.
The buold is splid, and the opening action just fine. I don't think this will ever free drop or be silky smooth, but that's not what I need this knife to be, so it isn't a concern. Overall, in terms or value, this is a good one provided you use it the way it's intended to be used.

Thanks for watching and take care!
