CRKT HVAS Unboxing and First Time Field Strip Disassembly
Published: 6 years ago
Going into this I had seen very little about Field Strip knives because it seemed like an unnecessary characteristic for the edc types of applications I use a knife for. That said, the system was very user friendly with little instruction and most importantly, the knife functions properly after reassembly.
Still have a long way to go before I make up mind on the HVAS, but the Field Strip aspect itself is definitely not a negative for my impression of the knife. It also makes this knife something I might reach for in outdoor situations or for applications in the elements, since cleaning it will be so simple.
