Sencut Citius: Unboxing and impressions (Knife Content)
Published: 4 years ago
Here's the other initial offering from Sencut, the Citius. It's certainly got that Civivi design language. Very similar to the Fracture, but locking... and small. Honestly though, it's nothing to write home about. There's nothing that sets it out from the crowd, but I do like the competition in the price range, ESPECIALLY from a company that hasn't blatantly knocked off existing designs.
The edge on this thing right out of the box was whelming. It slices paper as though it has a rolled edge, yet there's not a roll at all that I can feel, or strop out. That's not the end of the world, I'll throw my own 20 degree edge on it, but you do expect a new knife to be nice and sharp.
Specs:
3.4" 9Cr18MoV blade with 3mm stock thickness
2.51 oz / 71 gram weight
0.48" handle thickness (G10)
Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
