QSP Gannet Review & Teardown (Knife Content)
Published: 3 years ago
Was quite excited to pick this thing up as it looks perty 'n neat. I've been happy with QSP's previous budget options like the Penguin & Leopard.
Outside of some hardware decisions, this thing is quite functional, comfortable and nice looking. Micarta is good as usual, the carbon fiber is attached via dovetail and the action is smooth.
The horizontal satin finish is a nice touch as well that they seem to be doing a lot these days.
Specs:
3.3" 154CM blade with 3.0 mm stock thickness
3.46 oz / 95 gram weight
0.53" handle thickness (Red-laced Carbon Fiber & Black Linen Micarta)
Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball (Brass Cage)
