TwoSun Tuesday: TS56 NightMorning Design D2 Micarta (Knife Content)

TwoSun cominatcha.
This is an interesting one. I think it's been slightly upgraded from the initial brown micarta ones, but only slightly. The weave on the micarta might be a little tighter, but maybe I'm just seeing that as it's a higher finish than some others.
This thing's got some design flaws that I should point out. First, is the blade is able to be touched in the center of the handle when it's closed which is kind of a hazard, and also detrimental to the blade itself. Secondly, with such a neutral handle, you don't feel super confident when using it for piercing which is what a tanto profile is for.
Despite all that, I still have a bit of a soft spot for it. It feels right in between the Cold Steel Voyager & Recon 1... just with much less grip.
Specs:
3.95" D2 blade with 3.8 mm stock thickness
4.58 oz / 130 gram weight
0.62" handle thickness (Micarta)
Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
