TwoSun Tuesday: TS89 Wong Design in D2 (Knife Content)
Published: 3 years ago
This week, another G10 Wong Design with some interesting inside bits.
This thing was a legend when I was doing some rope cutting with it, having more than 1,000 cuts of 3/8" twisted sisal rope before it would snag when slicing through paper.
That was with a convex edge from the Worksharp Ken Onion with blade grinder attachment. I've since put the Worksharp Precision sharpener edge on it, so it's still at a 17 degree angle, but a full 'V' grind. Interested to see the difference in performance there.
Specs:
3.75" D2 blade with 3.85mm stock thickness
141.5g weight (4.99 oz.)
0.67" handle width (G10)
Liner lock
Ceramic bearings & detent
