Cold Steel: Lucky One Slipjoint Review (Knife Content)
Published: 3 years ago
I gotta admit, I may have panic-bought this knife after hearing of Cold Steel changing ownership hands. At that time, a lot of Cold Steel stock was on sale at a few places. I got this from Knife Center.
This is a very comfortable and incredibly thin 3-finger slippy that's made of a good carbon fiber and S35VN steel. The blade stock is super thin, so this thing can be a laser beam... but it can also do you wrong if you use it for a harder task than it's up for. A lot of that comes from the linerless construction, small pivot and thin blade.
I think it's probably a little more expensive than it should be, even when it was on sale, but oh well, I have it now and can put that behind me.
Specs:
2.6" S35VN blade with 1.5 mm stock thickness
0.79 oz / 22.5 gram weight
0.29" handle thickness (G10)
Slipjoint
Phosphor-Bronze washers
