TwoSun Tuesday: TS127-Crude Wong Design 3.7" 14C28N Blade (Knife Content)
Published: 3 years ago
This is the one that a LOT of people recommend when sticking your toe in to the TwoSun waters. There's a lot to love. The G10 texturing is very grippy due to milling, but not coarse like peel-ply texture. The distal taper and thinness behind the edge make for some excellent slicing. The tiny fuller on the blade allows for easy "Spidey-flicking" and it's generous size is comfortable for a lot of hand sizes.
It's a big, long sucker though, as a lot of Wong's designs are. I'm fine with that where I'm at, geographically, but jurisdictions change and it might be too large to carry fully concealed in a lot of regions.
Specs:
3.75" 14C28N blade with 3.65 mm stock thickness
4.74 oz / 134.5 gram weight
0.6" handle thickness (G10)
Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
