TwoSun Tuesday: TS135 Max Tkachuk Design 3.25" M390 in Ti & CF (Knife Content)
Published: 3 years ago
We have another Max Tkachuk design here. This one is much more slimline than the gigantic wharncliffe TS116. I believe this was my first locking knife in M390 from TwoSun.
It's a very neutral coffinesque handle design. There's carbon fiber onlays that are inset, but very proud of the titanium. Adds a nice swell in the middle for comfort.
As is seen, I've anodized mine a bit. Goldish color for the frame and a blue backspacer.
It has a subtle raise for the last quarter of the blade, like a flaccid tanto shape. I neither like nor dislike it. It does require you to tilt a tad more than a full wharncliffe would, but does help when cutting standing items like shrink wrap and cardboard.
Specs:
3.25" M390 blade with 3.3 mm stock thickness
3.02 oz / 85.5 gram weight
0.57" handle thickness (Ti & CF)
Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
