TwoSun Tuesday: TS137 Mazwan Mohktar Design in M390 (Knife Content)

Ah, the front-flipper cleaver. It's definitely unique. I think overall I find the handle a bit too small for my liking in the back end. It's not uncomfortable, but can get that way with prolonged use.
It's got a lot going for it that I like. Internal-mounted clip, internal lockbar relief and some interesting milling work on the spine to come close to a crowned spine.
It's got the hole in it that's pretty common for these cleavers. It's really just for aesthetics though. You CAN deploy it with your thumb or spidey flick it, but the hole is so low that it's not a great experience.
This one does have branding on the blade, where a lot of Mazwan's designs don't. I'd guess it's due to the internal lockbar relief not giving them enough room inside the frame to put the info.
Specs:
2.9" M390 blade with 4 mm stock thickness
3.64 oz / 103 gram weight
0.51" handle thickness (Ti & CF)
Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
