Kizer Grazioso: First Impressions and Look Inside (Knife Content)

If you don't mind some heft, this thing is a great carry.
If you do mind some heft, this ain't it, chief. it's over 4.6 ounces. Sure the copper bolster and backspacer add some weight, but even so, this thing is dense. There was apparently a Ti & CF variant in the works, but Kizer didn't want to produce it... maybe as a sprint run or dealer exclusive in the future, depending on how well this thing does.
That aside, the flipping action is great. I would suggest "light switch" over "push button" for it, as if you're really high up on the flipper and use the push button, it can catch on your finger when almost open. It's a milled out part of the blade, so no points or pain, but it does cause enough friction to prevent the blade from locking up.
It has ceramic bearings. I'm not sure what medium they're caged in though. It's a synthetic of some sort, but not your typical white nylon, and feels a bit more rigid. Maybe Delrin? Either way, the action is smooth, but it's far from a drop shut blade out of the box and tuned up. Guessing the blade and/or liners where the bearings interface needs quite a bit of breaking in for that.
Ergonomics are pretty well executed, especially if you favor the saber grip (thumb on top of blade). The extended thumb ramp with jimping works very nicely. The deep carry clip is a bit noticeable, but far less than most other folded over clips.
Speaking of the clip, it reminds me of Civivi's deep carry clip... but the material is much more rigid and I like the angle at the end of the clip for sliding it in and out of the pocket. It unfortunately doesn't have a smooth landing pad underneath it, and with the G10 being highly textured, it can be a bit rough.
The clip has counter-sunk screws. It's also about halfway embedded into the G10. So you still have a touch of the flat sticking up proud of the handle scale, but so minuscule that it won't impede putting it in your pocket.
Specs:
3.3" N690 blade with 3 mm stock thickness
4.62 oz / 131 gram weight
0.49" handle thickness (Copper & G10)
Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
