TwoSun Tuesday: TS162-Linen Wong Design in Micarta and 12C27/D2 (Knife Content)
Published: 3 years ago
This is a massively budgetized variant of the initial TS162. This one comes in their cheap micarta, steel liners and 12C27 steel (however they're much more common in D2).
The initial one is a Ti & CF frame lock in S90V steel, to put it in perspective.
Still, this thing is quite comfortable in hand with a very long blade that has so much belly you could probably make chicharones out of it if heat is applied. Made it quite a joy to do some rope cut testing with it.
It's really easy to deploy with the flipper tab, or to thumb roll it or spidey flick it open with the fuller on the blade.
It was also conceived later on, so it has their deep carry clip rather than the black stamped clip which helps immensely with the comfort in hand.
Specs:
3.9" 12C27 blade with 3.85 mm stock thickness
4.74 oz / 134.5 gram weight
0.65" handle thickness (Micarta)
Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
