TwoSun Tuesday: TS163-Grey Vincent Oliver Design in D2 & G10 (Knife Content)
Published: 3 years ago
Let me preface this by saying I scored this thing for $20. It's not one that immediately jumps out as something I want, but that price was hard to pass up in the moment.
This thing weighs a ton. Just slightly less than the TS84 Orca. At the pivot, it's even taller.
The G10 is acutely ridged. This provides a ton of grip. Too much grip. It's slightly uncomfortable to hold on to for harder use without gloves.
I do believe this is also designed for tactical uses like some other Vincent Oliver designs seem to be focused on. For that, it seems to make more sense. Feels better to hold in a reverse grip and the blade is very useful for those applications.
Specs:
3.66" D2 blade with 4 mm stock thickness
6.52 oz / 184.5 gram weight
0.66" handle thickness (G10)
Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
