Attempted Fix and Findings for TS304 Blade Wrap Issue (Knife Content)
Published: 3 years ago
Currently enjoying some time off from work as I had to burn some vacation time.
So, I had sharpened several millimeters off of the blade around the two barrel spacers, and closing the blade as I would normally between.
What I'm seeing is that the blade stop pin hits along a slanted section of the blade (designed to sit flush with the handle scales when it's deployed).
Looks more like this is the actual trouble, as dropping the blade shut, or squeezing it when it's closed can cause the blade to push further into the handle, and even start to jump out the other side of the detent hole.
Wanted to share my findings here and I think I got it depicted rather well.
