Slippy-J Sunday: TwoSun TS256-M398 2.63" M398 Blade with Ti Scales (Knife Content)

Yay, more slipjoints! (apologies for the late upload)

This one was intriguing due to it using M398 steel. This steel isn't incredibly new, but not many manufacturers utilize it. It sacrifices a ton of toughness to up the edge retention a bit. Because of that, I think it makes sense for a slipjoint form factor, but you might not want it in a full-size folder and probably not a fixed blade at all.

This thing's quite attractive. A comfortable 3-finger grip thanks to the contoured scales. The recurve near the tip is an interesting choice. For some utility cuts it works quite well keeping the tip up to the first inch inside the cut easier, but it does present some challenges when sharpening (as depicted).

No pocket clip available on this guy. We do have a stop pin, so blade wrap isn't an issue. The spring on mine is a little lighter than I'd like; around a 5.5 or 6.

Specs:
2.63" M398 blade with 4 mm stock thickness
2.36 oz / 67 gram weight
0.46" handle thickness (Ti)
Phosphor Bronze washers
