First Look: SixLeaf SL 04 RattleSnake Design in Ti & VG10 Damascus
Published: 3 years ago
Wow, this thing is odd. The lock actually reminds me a bit of the We Double Helix, but it's internal rather than external. Either way, it's super smooth when deploying via that switch.
It's a bit more difficult to deploy with the thumb hole or flipper tab, but they're both there. I do feel like there's a bit too much resistance from the plunge lock that hinders the flipper tab deployment, so you have to use some wrist.
Pocket clip might be a little pointy, but doesn't bother the hand in use.
Interesting filework done around the blade tang, including some that aren't easily visible.
Handle shape reminds me of something straight out of MineCraft or other Voxel-based games. Amazingly comfortable in the hand despite how angular it appears though.
Specs:
3.28" VG10 Damascus blade with 4 mm stock thickness
3.79 oz / 107.5 gram weight
0.59" handle thickness (Ti)
Plunge Lock
Ceramic bearings
