TwoSun Tuesday: TS201 RattleSnake Design in G10 & CF laminate with 14C28N Blade
Published: 3 years ago
This is the first of a chunk of RattleSnake Design knives that I've covered here (with the exception of slip joints). RattleSnake is fairly hit and miss for me. This one is a miss.
It was the first 14C28N knife I tried to do a cut test with, and my particular sample sucked, but I've had great performance out of the rest of them.
The finger cut out / lock bar access is far too large and becomes uncomfortable for your index finger. I'm also not a giant fan of the CF laminate on G10. Luckily, TwoSun doesn't produce more than like 2 of them.
I do suppose this is one of their thinnest G10 folders they've made, so it's got that going for it.
Specs:
3.7" 14C28N blade with 3.7 mm stock thickness
4.89 oz / 139 gram weight
0.51" handle thickness (G10 & CF laminate)
Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
