Slippy-J Sunday: TwoSun TS126-UP Nightmorning Design in Ti with M390 Blade
Published: 3 years ago
Ya know, when I first got this thing, I anticipated it being a bit larger. This thing's damned small, but it's got a lot of things going for it.
TwoSun does a great job with their blackened titanium, and this continues that trend. It's interesting to have an exposed backspring, and it works in this instance. The blade is easy to deploy with the blade hole and the (near as makes no difference) full flat grind has a good geometry.
It's not going to replace a swiss army blade if you really need something with incredibly thin blade (both in stock thickness and height), but it's much more robust with a much better steel.
Having the lanyard/keychain hole also put in the backspring is interesting, but it doesn't allow for easy full rotation if it's attached to your keys. Might be annoying or it might not.
Specs:
1.7" M390 blade with 2.5 mm stock thickness
0.93 oz / 26.5 gram weight
0.39" handle thickness (Ti)
Bronze washers
