TwoSun Tuesday: TS217 Jelly-Jerry Design in Ti & CF with 14C28N Blade
Published: 3 years ago
I enjoy this thing quite a bit. I think of it as a very large gentleman's knife, due to the narrow height of the blade and it's classy traditional appearance.
The front flipper on this thing is excellent. Whether you want to slow roll it out, or deploy with the quickness, it works every time. Also, you can spidey-flick it out using the blade hole.
Handle ergonomics are pretty great as well. Pocket clip has some nice detail work and is easy in and out of the pocket.
The CF bolster piece on the lockbar side does look at first glance like it might be fragile or unstable. I do point this out, and also how it's anchored in several points, so unless you're using the bolster as a hammer, you have nothing to worry about.
Specs:
3.47" 14C28N blade with 3.7 mm stock thickness
4.46 oz / 126.5 gram weight
0.56" handle thickness (Ti & CF)
Sub-Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
