TwoSun Tuesday: TS223 "Monarch" Jelly-Jerry Design in Ti & CF with M390 Blade
Published: 2 years ago
For having one of the thickest blade stocks around, I'm surprised this thing is super slicey. You might end up cracking a large apple when slicing it due to the thickness at the top, but this thing doesn't get bound up on cardboard or other things.
While the handle is contoured a bit, I feel it could have been rounded off a bit around the outer edges as it can feel a bit pointy. It's not uncomfortable, but not melt-in-your-hand.
This thing is surprisingly inexpensive, even for TwoSun's M390 blades, coming in at $120 or so I think at White Mountain Knives before discount codes. Lately, their 14C28N/D2 models are creeping up on that price.
Specs:
3.6" M390 blade with 4.1 mm stock thickness
4.7 oz / 133 gram weight
0.58" handle thickness (Ti & CF)
Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
