TwoSun Tuesday: TS226 "Ghost" Jelly-Jerry Design in Ti & CF scales with 14C28N Blade
Published: 2 years ago
I'm going to guess that this was Jelly Jerry's first attempt at a front flipper. The geometry makes it quite difficult to pull off. At least it doesn't run into the bottom of your finger when you flip it.
Otherwise though, I do like the design. The fuller is nice and the steep drop point work well. The handle is comfortable, but feels pretty thin in the hand. The strips of inlay kind of remind me of a Sebenza.
It does have the blade edge too close to the spine of the handle, so it can bite ya if you're not careful.
If you're looking for a front flipper from him, the Noble & Megalodon are both much better executed.
Specs:
3.57" 14C28N blade with 3.8 mm stock thickness
4.28 oz / 121.5 gram weight
0.52" handle thickness (Ti & CF)
Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
