TwoSun Tuesday: TS229 "Megalodon" Jelly-Jerry Design in Ti & CF with M390 Blade
Published: 2 years ago
The Megalodon is a big-ass shark, and this is a big-ass knife. Still EDCable, but it's on the larger side in a lot of ways. Blade stock thickness and weight, mostly.
Still, this thing can put in an incredible amount of work. With the down-cant to the blade, utility cuts are easily achieved without having to use the tip, so you can save that for the pokey-pokey.
Front flipper works great on this model, and much easier than the 228 Ghost. Ergos work, but aren't exactly world class in my opinion. I have no complaints, but it doesn't quite fit "like a glove" for me.
Specs:
3.59" M390 blade with 4 mm stock thickness
4.82 oz / 136.5 gram weight
0.57" handle thickness (Ti & CF)
Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
