TwoSun Tuesday: TS283-Brass Wong Design in Ti & Brass with 3.3" 14C28N Blade
Published: 2 years ago
This is a chonker. Maybe not a "heckin'" chonker like the TS284, but one nonetheless. I stonewashed the blade on mine, it comes in satin finish.
The front flipper works pretty well on it. My favorite deployment is the thumb studs, but they're not perfect. They're basically straight-side cylinders without any texture. They're not incredibly uncomfortable, but I have had them come loose once, so I threw threadlocker in there after the stonewashing.
This is a classic Wong design, so expect large hands to be comfortable and happy with it.
Specs:
3.3" 14C28N blade with 3.7 mm stock thickness
5.79 oz / 164 gram weight
0.62" handle thickness (Ti & Brass)
SubFrame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
