TwoSun Tuesday: TS275 by H-Design with Ti & CF scales & 3.64" D2 Blade
Published: 2 years ago
There's been a surge of "recurve tanto"s coming out of TwoSun lately. While it's not my favorite blade shape, they are popular.
This thing is fully skeletonized, not just weight relieved. As such, it's a lot lighter weight than I anticipated. It makes a loud sound when deploying, as the CF scales reverberate it bit more than titanium does.
The ergos on this remind me a lot of the Spyderco Resilience I recently got. It's slightly more angular compared to that, but all the swells are in the same areas.
The hollow grind on this does make it thicker behind the edge than their full-flat or high saber grind knives are though. It's not uncommon for that in the industry, but it does make me favor a full flat grind in general.
Specs:
3.64" D2 blade with 3.9 mm stock thickness
4.66 oz / 132 gram weight
0.53" handle thickness (Ti & CF)
Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
