TwoSun Tuesday: TS204-Black "Bronc" Tepe & Matt Syzmanski Collab with CF & G10 Scales in S90V

Published: 2 years ago

This thing seems to hold a higher price than a lot of other TwoSuns, which is why it's taken me so long to pick one up.

This looks to be a collab between Tepe Design and Matt Syzmanski. The name was given from Lee over at LTK.

This is a rather recent production (the model number is printed on the blade). More often than not, that gives a much better chance to perform great, unlike some of their early S90V attempts.

This thing has titanium liners which makes it unusual. I'd say unique, but I have a variant of the TS50 that also utilizes ti liners like this. The white G10 is done really well. It's not quite ridiculously basketball shoe white, but still more vibrant than I see most other companies produce.

The finger choil is way too small for my hands, but I'm kinda used to that from Tepe's Designs. Most designers don't want to sac up to 3/4" of blade to make a huge choil.

The handle is thiccer than a bowl of oatmeal. This makes it nice to hold in the hand, especially in the hammer grip, but it's noticeable in the pocket as a result.

Specs:
3.08" (78.3mm) CPM-S90V blade with 3.6 mm stock thickness
4.06 oz / 115 gram weight
0.63" (16mm) handle thickness (CF & G10)
Ti Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
