TwoSun Tuesday: TS237 Wong & Syzmanski Collab in Ti & CF with 14C28N Blade

Published: 2 years ago

There is a lot to love about this collab knife. I'll get the bad part out first. This seems to be one of the first front flippers that Wong and/or Matt had designed. It has the rookie mistake of including a standard flipper, without compensating properly, so if you use the standard flipper, you have to get your finger out of the way QUICK, or the front flipper will hit you and fail to lock up.

There. The rest of it is quite nice. It's a full frame lock, so the CF isn't included on the backside. I like the matchstick fullers that Wong has placed on this and a few other knives. The tip is decently reinforced as well, with the swedge up top keeping a bit of thickness.

The ergos are very comfortable for me. It locks in quite well. It also has a flat above the finger cutout so you can choke up if that suits your fancy. I do kinda wish the the grind were a little thinner. It's a jack of all trades, but feels like it'd be more effective with a thinner grind.
