TwoSun Tuesday: TS340 Jelly-Jerry Design in Ti & CF Scales with 3.61" 14C28N Blade
Published: 2 years ago
This is an interesting design. Maybe not practical for all EDC tasks due to the downcant to the handle, but it reminds me of a pistol grip kind of thing. It's great for thrusting and you have a ton of handle in your palm to back that up.
That does prove to be a little more difficult to get a lot of downward force in the standard saber grip though. And with the large curvature of the handle with it not having an exaggerated length, a reverse grip isn't going to be the best either.
But hey, it's got 14C28N steel! It looks like they've shied away from it due to the scratching and possible sourcing problems for the amount they produce, so at the moment, it's a selling point.
It also has ano work done on it. There's a purple variant, but the original is the gold. It's fairly subtle, but still noticeable when viewed next to other titanium scales.
Specs:
3.61" (91.7 mm) 14C28N blade with 3.4 mm stock thickness
4.17 oz / 118 gram weight
0.53" (13.5 mm) handle thickness (Ti & CF)
Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
