TwoSun Tuesday: TS308 "Suiryuu" Deen Mokhtar Design in Frag Ti with 2.99" M390 Blade

Published: 2 years ago

Alright, so "Deen", or Aydin (sp?) designed this knife, to the best of my knowledge in drawings. He's the son of Dani Mokhtar, who is an avid and active member of the international knife community.

Neither Deen nor Dani are in blood relation to Mazwan Mokhtar. Confused yet? While not quite as prolific, it's kind of akin to the common last names like Smith and Nguyen.

So, Mazwan I believe knows Dani to some extent, and helped out converting the concept art into design specs that TwoSun could use to produce the knife. With some of his flair, like the ball-point pocket clip and things to fill in some blanks.

Regardless of all of that, this is a great knife. It has a lot of the same positive characteristics that the QSP Parrot has, where it accommodates larger hands easily while still clocking in just a hair under 3 inches.

Specs:
2.99" M390 blade with 4 mm stock thickness
3.03 oz / 86 gram weight
0.48" handle thickness (Ti)
Frame Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
