TwoSun Tuesday: TS371 Wong Design in Ti & Brass with 3.18" D2 Blade

Published: 1 year ago

This felt like an appropriate time to take a look at this smaller design, due to a larger one with a lot of similarities I did last week.

This one though, uses a steel liner attached to the titanium frame. There's some other differences as well, like the brass pieces being inlayed rather than onlays and having titanium thumbstuds in addition to the front flipper.

It's great for days you want to carry something a little smaller. The pocket clip is a downfall though. Due to how stiff it is, mixed with it interfacing a bit lower than flush with the top layer of the brass makes it quite difficult to get clipped into your pants, especially with thicker fabric.

This has a steampunk vibe to it, no doubt due to the gear figuring on the ends of the brass inlays. It's tastefully done though, not looking like an amateur mod of a normal knife with random clock parts glued to it.
