TwoSun Tuesday: TS243 "Humpback" | Mazwan Mokhtar Design in CF & Ti With 3.25" 14C28N Blade
Published: 1 year ago
This is a chonky boi. Sir Chonkington if you will.
It's nice to see a Ti liner lock. There's been a couple from TwoSun, but this is probably the most well known.
I wish there was a bit more lockbar access, the finger choil is too small for me and the tip of the blade is a touch too close to the top of the scales when closed, but otherwise this is a beast. Not in length mind you, but a nice tall blade with good geometry.
This was made at a time in which TwoSun was cool with Mazwan's designs keeping the blade free from billboarding, moving his logo and TwoSun's internal to the scales. I think he's got some pushback on that as I haven't seen any of his more recent designs do that.
Specs:
3.25" (82.6 mm) 14C28N blade with 3.75 mm stock thickness
5.54 oz / 157 gram weight
0.64" (16.2 mm) handle thickness (CF)
Ti Liner Lock
Ceramic bearings & detent ball
