TwoSun TS369: Jelly-Jerry Design in Ti and Micarta with 3.59" D2 Blade

Published: 1 year ago

Yay, TwoSun Tuesday! I love all sorts of stuff about this knife. The size, the ergonomics, the clip, the geometry, the colors, the pivot collar…

It does have a few areas that could be improved though, like the thumbstuds not being bespoke to the model, and thus stick out too far and can catch on your clothing when removing it from the pocket (but not in a controlled manner like a “Wave” effect).

The “plunge grind” down to the edge could be improved as well. It’s not the worst offender by far, but it’d still be nice to have it end long before the edge begins.

Lastly, it’d be nice to have some lockbar access. We have some scallops, but it’s a bit better in most cases to have a bit cut into the showside to make that easier, especially for those who are using it with gloves or other PPE.

As a nitpick as well, the blade (just at the heel) is too close to the top of the scales when closed. It’s better than a lot of TwoSuns, but it can still “getcha” if you’re not careful.
