Slippy-J Sunday: Viper Twin in Titanium & Fat Carbon inlays with 2.98" M390 Blade
Published: 1 year ago
This little guy is pretty impressive. Titanium construction with Dark Matter Fat Carbon inlays. Nice pronounced back spring strength and a decently comfortable handle.
Comparing this to the Viper Hug, I think I like the Hug better as far as ergonomics goes, but the blade shape is quite different. They’re both made from M390 that feels appropriately heat treated and basically the same stock thickness.
Only real complaint I think I have is that the leather slip it comes with is far too small to comfortably stuff it in there. Sure leather stretches over time as long as the stitches last, but they probably needed to make a slip that’s a bit wider to accommodate it.
Specs:
2.98" (75.7 mm) M390 blade with 3 mm stock thickness
2.7 oz / 76.5 gram weight
0.42" (10.7 mm) handle thickness (Ti & Fat Carbon)
Bronze Washers
