TwoSun Tuesday: TS408-C Keanu Design in Titanium with 3.57" 14C28N Blade

Published: 1 year ago

I’m loving this thing, even more than I thought I would. It’s in the spirit of a Spyderco, somewhere between a Military and a Manix, but has a bit more of a lifted tip compared to the more traditional leaf blades of those.

The hole design is great to me. It’s just as functional as the Spyderco round hole, but doesn’t interfere with their trademark, gives it an angry look, almost like the shark motifs from WW2 planes. And the chamfering on it makes it very comfortable.

I’d suggest grabbing the unanodized variant for the extra grip it provides, but this one is pretty good as well.

As with Keanu’s other offerings from TwoSun, this one has a titanium clip, but it’s not milled, it’s stamped and folded. It will give you a deeper carry, but they aren’t quite as strong; I’ve bent one previously. It’s easy enough to fix as it is with other stamped clips, but something to note.

No complaints on the blade other then 14C28N is still subject to surface scratches with the satin finish. It performs as it should and the geometry makes it slice for days.
