Have A Knife Day meets some of the command staff from the Bowie Brigade.

Saturday the 23rd was the Inaugural James Black Bowie Heritage Festival. While there I meet some National Guard soldiers that came from the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT). Finding some of their command stadf I noticed that they were kitted out with James Black style Bowie knives. I did the only reasonable thing and asked them about it and now you too can know why they are called, “The Bowie Brigade."
