Testing 15V VS 15V:Spyderco 15V&Custom 15V

My testing is to decipher whether or not you can tell the difference between well done production 15V at around 65 hrc, and custom 15V at around 65 hrc. So far I cannot tell a difference. They both have performed incredibly well. So why is there such talk around a specific way a company did the processing? Are custom makers unable to meet production standards? Typically, it’s the other way around. We will see if anything changes as time goes on!
