Sebenza 25 - Possible Perfection

Published: 11 years ago

My opinion has slightly changed on this knife. I now consider it superior to the 21 in pretty much every way. By far my favorite Chris Reeve offering to date. Do yourself a favor and check this blade out!

Chris Reeve Sebenza 25 Knife (3.625" Plain)
The Sebenza 25 is the latest version of the beloved folder from Chris Reeve Knives and the 25th Anniversary Sebenza takes the solid performance of the 21 to the next level.

The Chris Reeve Sebenza 25 has a revised handle shape that incorporates a second finger groove. The pivot has a shaped phosphor bronze washer on the lock-side for better stability on that side and both washers have larger perforations to reduce friction, store more lube and move dirt away from the blade/washer surface. The new 1/8 inch ceramic ball on the lockbar improves the blade/lock tab interface and doubles to ensure the blade stays in place when in the closed position. The lock bar also has a heat treated 416 stainless steel stop pin. The blade features "Large Hollow Grind Technology", which delivers the best of hollow and flat grinds. The blade is also slightly thicker than the 21 model and has asymmetrical thumb notches.

This Sebenza 25 has a satin finished S35VN steel blade with thumb lugs. The titanium handle and pocket clip are all bead blasted.
