The ADV Tactical TAC Butcher - Andre de Villiers Midtech Masterpiece

Published: 9 years ago

Description

The ADV Tactical TAC Butcher by Andre de Villiers is just begging to cut something. Excellent balance on this piece starting with the thick Titanium slab handle scales with dark, tumbled finish and grooves for grip. An S35VN dark washed wharny-styled blade flies out of the handle thanks to micro roller bearings at the pivot and easy-out ridged flipper tab. The Butcher can also be deployed via an oversized thumb disk on the spine of the blade. Machined grooves where your thumb rests and grooved Ti backspacer boost precision cutting control. Final touches include a hardened steel lock bar insert, over travel stabilizer and tip-up carry titanium pocket clip. The back of the handle is marked AdV, TAC-Butcher 2015. This blacked out Butcher is brand new direct from maker Andre de Villiers.

Micro Roller Bearings provide as smooth, silky ride as ball bearings without wearing a groove into the Titanium handle. Andre has personally performed many tests of rollers continuing to perform in the most extreme conditions where ball bearings would not (i.e. Sand/Grit in the pivot).
