The Mordax Flipper is the next great way to get into a mid-tech Ferrum Forge knife without the high cost of a full-on custom. This knife still features hand finishing, top of the line materials and the superb fit and finish of all Ferrum Forge knives. It's a simple design with very few parts but it packs a whole lot of cutting performance into this beautiful knife. The handles are solid titanium with a steel lock insert with integral overtravel arrestor and Hoback Rolling Detent.

This is of course a flipper design and the action is made buttery smooth by the thrust bearings which also assist in the knife's strong lockup. The 3.625" blade is made from Bohler N690 stainless steel with an excellent drop point shape with plenty of belly and a finger choil to choke up on. This finish on this blade is quite extraordinary. It's got a readily visible stonewashed finish on the grinds and brush satin flats. It gives the blade a very handsome looking finish and it appears to be one that will wear well over time. This model features a strong gray titanium handle, bent titanium pocketclip, titanium standoffs and pivot screw all anodized bronze. No detail is overlooked in a Ferrum Forge product and this Mordax Flipper is another excellent design for anyone looking for a top notch knife at a very good price.
