This custom-forged blade features a five-layer steel core with copper layered inside, giving it a distinctive, eye-catching look. Just a heads-up, though—copper naturally oxidizes over time. Whether that’s a dealbreaker is up to you, but one thing’s for sure: this is one of the most affordable custom copper-blade knives out there, with solid craftsmanship that makes it a great bang for your buck.
The satin finish on the blade is hand-ground, which you can see in the unique sanding marks on the surface—totally different from machine-made blades. The cutting edge has a hollow grind, and the tanto-style tip is flat-ground, which gives it extra strength for piercing and a smooth feel when slicing.
The Chop2 has a clean, straightforward design. Just press the fin, and it opens smoothly. The button lock lets you easily unlock it with one hand, so it’s super convenient to use while working.
For the frame, we used 7075 aerospace-grade aluminum, known for its high strength and lightweight feel. It’s a striking contrast to our bronze series and definitely better suited for everyday carry.
We didn’t add a back clip to avoid any risk of scratches on the handle’s inlay during shipping, but you can easily install the clip yourself. We’re including a T8 tool in the package for your convenience.
This knife features ceramic bearings and a brass frame, allowing for smooth opening.
